Baby tracking solution

Neonatal aims at protecting the newborn´s fundamental right to know who his/her biological mother is under all circumstances. To this effect, from the very moment of birth, the newborn obtains an unequivocal identification based on fingerprint biometrics which can be electronically transferred to the Register Office following the chain of custody.

This technology avoids identity errors, baby switching or abductions from hospitals by means of a system for the protection and custody of newborns that combines biometric and RFID (radiofrequency identification) technologies.

Why identify a newborn?

- Because there can be switches and errors with severe consequences: identity changes, baby trafficking etc.

- Because the law protects the right of the newborn to be identified at the moment of birth since the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child by the UN in 1989.

- Because the birth certificate submitted to the Register of Births has to contain all the guarantees related to the bi univocal mother/baby relation in order to ensure the right of the newborn to know, under all circumstances, who his/her biological mother is.

On what is our latest generation technology based?

A previous codification is set in accordance with the needs required for custody in optimum systems to create a mother/baby binomial that is easy to use, cheap and effective.

The biometric reader has been developed to read the newborn fingerprints in the maternity ward together with his/her biological mother´s. This usage environment has allowed Innokat to have a biometric reader that is reliable and robust. Fingerprint reading in a newborn is highly difficult, not only because of the minimum size but also because of external determining factors: water, vernix, hypothermia, etc.

The functionality and design of the terminal are tailored to suit the needs of the maternity ward and to work in the delivery room. Its technology allows:

- To identify the midwife who will sign the birth entry
- To read the mother´s fingerprint (after reading her encoder)
- To read the newborn´s fingerprint (after reading his/her encoder)
- To enter additional data about the delivery

The Challenge

Vehicle fuel prices are constantly rising.
Transport, Construction companies, Bus and Public Service companies, and others who operate Vehicle fleets, trucks, cars, buses, Vans and other Fuel driven Machinery would like to know how much fuel has been taken, By Who, Where, When, Which Vehicle/User
By Capturing the exact data and continuous monitoring of fuel used, fuel Monitoring/Saving programs, could give up to 30% fuel cost savings, including the prevention of criminal misuse.
The Solution

On every related fuel filling nozzle aBlueTank® reader is fixed.
On the refueling neck of the vehicle a transponder is fixed
The fuel pump is activated only if the transponder is in a white list.


HOW THE SYSTEM WORK

The transponder has a worldwide unique ID.
The BlueTank® reader detects the transponder ID using RFID system.
The ID is transferred by Bluetooth to a controller which is connected to the pump switch and the fuel flow meter. The white list is stored in the controller, if the vehicles transponder ID is in the white list, the pump will switch on, if not no fuel will flow.
The controller communicates by GSM/GPRS or Ethernet IP or RS232/485 and sends the transaction data to a Server/PC
